The 50^th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control and European Control Conference will be held Monday through Thursday, December 12-15, 2011 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando, Florida. The conference will be preceded by technical workshops on Sunday, December 11, 2011.

This is the second time two of the most important conferences in control, the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) and the European Control Conference (ECC), will be celebrated as a joint conference. The IEEE CDC is the annual meeting of the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) while the ECC is organized every two years under the auspices of the European Union Control Association (EUCA). These conferences are conducted in cooperation with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and the Japanese Society for Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE).
